Glock. You know the name, but do you trust the brand? Choosing the right concealed carry firearm is an important decision; a decision that should never be rushed.
Here is why I choose to carry the G27 as my EDC (every day carry), and have so for years now.
No place better to start than one of my favorite handguns, the Glock 27 (G27). This is my concealed carry weapon of choice by they way, I will explain why in the review. The Glock 27 handgun was designed to give the shooter the same firepower and accuracy as it's full size kin, but in a concealable size. It is very comparable to the Glock 26 which is chambered in 9mm as the G27 uses the 40 S&W cartridge.
I carry several different guns. Each has a purpose, of course, and every gun has benefits and limitations. My perspective of use has been influenced by qualifying four times a year on a concealed carry course which involves drawing and shooting from concealment or low ready with time limits of 1.5 to 3 seconds. Head shots are required from 3-7 yards, and center mass shots are required from 7-15 yards.
